Meet Micahlene Sargeant, PA-C! She is an integral part of the orthopedic team for Dr. Service’s practice. Patients seeking care with Dr. Service’s team often work with Micahlene and see her for routine post-surgical care. Micahlene is a NCCPA certified physician assistant and is licensed to practice by the Florida Board of Medicine.
Micahlene received her Bachelor of Science in biomedical science from Advent Health University, graduating summa cum laude. She received her master’s degree in medical science at Nova Southeastern University and subsequently passed the Physician Assistant National Certification Examination. While at NSU, she was honored to be on the Dean’s List due to her superior academic performance. She has extensive experience serving a wide variety of patients in several orthopedic subspecialties, including traumatic injuries. She often manages nonsurgical orthopedic problems in her own office hours with great outcomes. Her strengths include excellent communication, friendly demeanor, and excellent diagnostic skills. Micahlene is passionate about providing high quality, compassionate care to patients in all settings.
Micahlene grew up in upstate New York, and now she enjoys taking advantage of the year-round sunny weather in Central Florida, with paddleboarding, kayaking, biking and taking care of her many pets.
